I’ve been writing almost all my life and I’ve been making ads since I began working in advertising in 1988. I grew Specsavers’ in-house agency into the largest and best known in the UK, and I was responsible for establishing one of the longest running and most famous ad campaigns in recent years.

Over the years I’ve been involved in almost every imaginable aspect of brand advertising, from concept to execution, across writing, art direction and design, directing and editing. I have worked across all media, including print and TV, idents, every kind of digital format from basic banner ads to complex video content, all forms of outdoor, cinema and event activation.
